Here, we gathered with the “Lifebearers” School, Foundation of Maternal Heath Ministry, through YWAM Kona, focused on equipping women through a Biblical lens to understand the maternal health crisis, to learn practical skills of how to support women during pregnancy, birth and the first 5 years of life. (As well as some of our dear friends, ministry partners, the local community, visiting senior pastors, and even 2 high-schoolers, our youngest audience yet). We had the privilege to lead them in a 5-day “Trust Journey,” in which we taught a comprehensive overview of TBRI®’s 3-Part Caregiver Equipping—in marriage with Scripture, the revelation of Jesus, and His ways of transformational care!
