Here, Wisdom of Care hosted the first ever “Book Release Night” with Light, San Diego, their local church. This was an intimate gathering with mothers & fathers, adoptive or foster mothers & fathers, and future mothers & fathers in the community. We prayed together, shared a meal, took in an impartation about the glory of God’s design for infancy, childhood, relationship and family, the WAYS of Jesus as Good Shepherd—and our calling to TEND His sheep in His image!

Parents left feeling encouraged, supported, and motivated to grow in Christlikeness as they respond to the needs of their children. Future mothers & fathers were compelled to take seriously the opportunity to be healed & equipped BEFORE having a child. Caregivers of the vulnerable grew in understanding about the sobering realities they are called to tend in their children. And all of us experienced a deeper measure of revelation about our own security and worth as beloved sons and daughters.

We pray this is the beginning of many more opportunities to sow this transformational revelation and equipping into the Body of Christ!

Join us at a 3 day conference, The Send: a global worship and missions movement that mobilizes passionate Jesus followers to live on mission in their everyday lives, campuses, and communities. On days 1-2: (July 23-24), Wisdom of Care will have a “booth presence,” where you are invited to come personally engage with us and learn more about our mission and resources. On day 3: (July 25), we will have a live “break-out” for those who respond to the call to care for the vulnerable. This will be from 4-5 pm and here you will have the chance to go deeper, receive access to foundational resources, ask questions and hear more about ways you can be strengthened & equipped for the radical mission of tending the vulnerable as Jesus tends them.

Here, we gathered with the “Lifebearers” School, Foundation of Maternal Heath Ministry, through YWAM Kona, focused on equipping women through a Biblical lens to understand the maternal health crisis, to learn practical skills of how to support women during pregnancy, birth and the first 5 years of life. As women seeking to be part of supporting nations that have no access to resources for healthy, wholistic childbearing—they testified that Wisdom of Care was an incredibly personal, enriching experience. That it took their perspective about a mother’s responsibility to carry life even deeper. And that they have been able to directly apply what they learned and received with the vulnerable mothers they serve through their ministry.

Here, we gathered with “Fire & Fragrance’s” leadership track, who are devoted to serving the global church in the Great Commission mandate and the sending of pioneers to the least reached peoples of the world. As young leaders passionate about discipling a generation to be faithful, burning Jesus followers and reaching the lost and the broken with the Good News—they testified that Wisdom of Care provided greater measures of both personal healing and equipping to help them walk out a truly secure identity in Christ, and secure leadership that ultimately points those their discipling directly to Christ.

Here, we gathered with a group of “Brave Love” students, who are a missions initiative that gathers and champions women to lead, evangelize, and carry God’s heart for solution for those in need and suffering. This was the only gathering we did where everyone in the room was a mother or future mother. The Wisdom of Care was a significant experience for these women, many who received personal healing from areas they had compromising or hurtful childhood experiences by encountering the redemptive care of Jesus, as their Perfect Caregiver. And it was a powerful opportunity to unite in the fear of the Lord with the radical vision for a generation of future mothers to say “Yes” to the holy call of motherhood before they even have their babies.

Here, we had the opportunity to gather with Everyday, a vibrant, thriving church in Minnesota, worship Jesus, share about 1MillionHome’s revolutionary model of kingdom-minded orphan care, introduce Wisdom of Care to their community, and receive a provoking message from Francis Chan on God’s heart for children and family!

Here, we gathered with a diverse group including mothers & fathers, foster and adoptive mothers & fathers, and young missions leaders & staff.  We had the privilege to lead them in a 5-day “Trust Journey,” in which we taught a comprehensive overview of TBRI®’s 3-Part Caregiver Equipping—in marriage with Scripture, the revelation of Jesus, and His ways of transformational care! We witnessed unfolding testimonies before our eyes as mothers and fathers noticed immediate breakthrough in their own parenting and families… caregivers of the vulnerable profoundly empowered to tend with more of God’s wisdom… personal healing was taking place… and young leaders were receiving massive understanding about Christlike leadership and discipleship.

This was our 2nd ever gathering… in response to our 1st ever gathering…  Here, we had the sacred opportunity to teach a comprehensive overview of TBRI®’s 3-Part Caregiver Equipping—in marriage with Scripture, the revelation of Jesus, and His ways of transformational care—with 12 men of God, who were fathers, ministry and missions leaders.  We witnessed the Holy Spirit move in unprecedented ways in the lives, families and relationships of these men… including their relationship with Jesus Himself. There was healing, encounter, and deep alignment for God’s calling of fathers, God’s design for family, and God’s powerful redemption when this has been stolen or compromised.

This was our 1st ever gathering… around the table.  Without having a name or thinking anything would emerge, we gathered some of our closest friends (in this case 12 mothers) in our home, around our table, and shared all that we had just learned and all that God was revealing over the course of 40 hours throughout a month. It was in this place that we started to witness the Lord MOVE powerfully and personally amongst these God-fearing women who had been following Jesus for decades. They came, like us, expecting to receive more tools to care for the vulnerable (which they did). And yet, they experienced God touch their own lives, their own stories, their own desires to care for their own children and families with a fresh impartation of His holy care. The Spirit was moving in ways we never could have thought up or planned for… so in faith, we responded.  And from this moment onward, we have been on a JOURNEY of following the Lord as HE is bringing forth what is on HIS heart for HIS children for such a time through the Wisdom of Care…
